yeah, I never fancast Zooey as Annie with Grant as Finn… I’d rather someone like astrid berges-frisbey.
But the Zooey fancast works if she’s paired with someone like Garrett Hedlund, because he’s older (and looks older).

I never pictured Finnick anything like the three guys they’ve narrowed it down to and I couldn’t really prefer any of them. I guess if Garrett was completely clean-shaved he might pass for what I imagined Finnick looking like…

I guess with the amount of people auditioning for the role he has the same chance as everyone else, which is very little.
As well as the fact that he has commitments right now which may mean he might not be able to be there straight away for the read-throughs and filming.
Taylor Kitsch himself says that he’s not cast as Finnick here.
There’s also an article (I was going to link it, but I can’t find it now asdfghjkl) about Armie Hammer being ruled out of “the final three” as well.
And there’s an article here saying that the rumours are false.
Can I also point out that from personal experience I’ve been dealing with E!Online constantly claiming Harry Styles has a new girlfriend every week (which he doesn’t fyi he doesn’t pull girls that easily), so I’m not going to believe this “final three” rumour because they don’t actually have a reliable source, like maybe say Lionsgate. I highly doubt Lionsgate would of released such confidential information before they actually confirmed Finnick. It’s just silly.

Armie Hammer won't be in Catching Fire, he's filming Cut Bank in the Fall so they wouldn't shortlist a guy who's busy elsewhere, and they can't move the shooting for obvious reasons (such as JLaw's commitments to other projects.) And Armie wouldn't leave that movie for the THG franchise even if he legally could. It looks like a good film and Armie is the lead.

There are also rumours going around saying that they’ll be releasing the casting of Finnick as soon as this Friday, which is in two days (for me, I think it’s 3 days for America and England and what not).
Anyone want to make some fan art about Grant as Finnick? We should probably make the most of our last days…
